My approach to photography:
Clients: I make every single shoot bespoke to the client as I believe that is the only way to do really great photography.
Personal: I always look for the shots that are out of the norm, especially in well known photography areas. This is usually by finding a different angle than others have already tried. I believe that if my shot isn’t going to be any different from the others then why bother taking it?
Commercial photoshoot - The Realm of Imagination:
This shoot was done for a toy shop that is focused on selling eco friendly and traditional children’s toys.
The images that were produced over the session were almost immediately implemented across their social media accounts and website.
Commercial photoshoots - The Star Rock Shop:
These shoots were done for Scotlands oldest sweet shop. The goal was to show off their traditional ‘rock’ making methods in a style that represented their brand and their authenticity.
Across 82 consecutive business posts, those that used my images had a median average of 62 engagements, compared to those that didn’t with 23.5. That’s a 164% uplift in median engagement.
